Featured Project

My hIMG_0111usband and I bought an 80’s style house that had great bones – high ceilings, lots of windows and skylights, but the inside was VERY dated. We had asked our network for referrals, and met plenty of great contractors, but the name that came up most frequently was Mike Borrelli of Duracon Construction. He had finished a big basement/waterproofing project for a close friend, as well as some smaller jobs for another couple. We had some reservations due to the scale of this project, but through multiple meetings and discussions about the job we were convinced that he was the right fit.

Mike and his team completely gutted the kitchen, and removed a wall to open up a galley kitchen to have a counter overlooking the open concept Living Room/Dining Room. We completely reIMG_0084did 4 bathrooms – including brand new showers/tubs, vanities, cabinets and tiles. Brand new stairs, railing, doors, fixtures, electrical, plumbing, flooring, insulation, fireplaces, and painting throughout. Mike was very accommodating as plans evolved throuIMG_0107ghout, including helping us source and have made modern doors when we decided not to use the existing doors. When we decided to also replace the trim and baseboards throughout the house, he took on the work himself to save money when we were quoted a much higher amount from a supplier. Mike has an excellent team that he oversees, and we were so pleased with the quality of their work. He is extremely detailed and conscientious and would notice imperfections even when we didn’t, and fix them. They finished the job on time and on budget and even guaranteed their work and have stood by that guarantee.

We highly recommend Duracon Construction and have referred him to numerous friends and contacts since.
